About

Who am I?  My name is Lorrie Harper.  I have been a General Manager in the food industry for the last 17 years.  I started out in the food industry over 30 years ago's in the fast food.  I worked for Taco Bell and a Senor Taco, while in High School.  After High School, I switched to Denny's, Sambos, Jolly Tiger and Carrows as a food server.  In 1988 I switched to Cask-n-Cleaver to learn casual fine dining service.  They specialized in high quality steaks, fresh fish, full service bar and fine wines.

In 1990 I changed career paths and switched to management.  By late 1990, I became a General Manager for Carrows, then switched to Red Lobster, back to Carrows for a few years, and worked for Cops Donuts...brand new concept in Carmicahel, CA.

I now teach classes at San Joaquin Delta College (Community College) in Stockton, CA. I teach Food Service Management, Purchasing and Receiving and a few hospitality classes. I have my Bachelor's in Business Management and have attended numerous food industry training courses, created training programs for various corporations, HACCP Plans, HR packages for start-up company and I am ServSafe certified.
